In my latest issue of HOW magazine, one of my favorite design magazines which has an active design forum, I read about these inexpensive miniature suitcases from Paper Source. Prices range from $6.50 to $12.50.
This would make a great thank-you to a client after you’ve "packed up" a big job and sent it off to print. (You could put a few samples of the print job in it.) Or maybe fill it with margarita supplies!
Note: for some reason, I only see red and pink available on the Paper Source site.

Savor Dallas is an upscale yearly food, wine, and art event that showcases great chefs, winemakers, distillers, and artisans. We were fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with founders Jim White and Vicki-Briley-White on the design of this year’s poster.
I designed this poster in Illustrator CS2, with each hand-drawn element on its own layer so that they could be moved and rearranged depending on the medium (poster, ads, website, etc.) Our goal was to capture the sophistication of the event along with the handmade artisan nature that makes it unique.
